There is a difference though. The Mk. 2 seats had originally a sprung system on the squab area whereas previous seats had just rubber straps. The only way to tell from the outside of the seat is to measure the distance from the top of the face flutes, over the top of the seat to the stitch line on the rear of the cover. This measurement
