It has the superficial look of a Tillandsia juncea but with thicker leaves in a bit more open shape

Cryptanthus 'Pomegranate' 2019-05-20 orange with yellow flowersA Carole Richtmyer hybrid, a cultivar of 'Tim Plowman' x ('Raspberry Ice' x 'Rusty Spoon'), maturing to a medium, open, round rosette to 18 inches in diameter. The lanceolate leaves marked with dark green bands and margination with tints of pink red, almost all a 'pomegranate' red in stronger light, and scurfed with silver white in the leaf axils and tips. The leaf tips just slightly recurve and twist revealing the light lineated underside.
