This is an absolutely incredible caftan that appears to have been custom or hand made

It's made from a high grade early nylon like fabric that one only finds from this time period - probably the most cutting edge swimwear fabric in its day

This was lovingly stored properly and is in excellent condition despite being almost 100 years later

It is interesting to note that the chiffon pieces have hammered silver applied to them in the manner of the assuit shawls from Egypt

All of which are masterfully mixed into the stunning patchwork design that you see
