Cobalt Blue Fynbos Ceramic Plate - n°11 1950s Size: 24cm D x 22cmA hand built ceramic plate, hand painted with a cobalt blue fynbos design, by the acclaimed South African ceramicist Shelley Maisel. Working from Noordhoek on the Cape Peninsula, she coils and pinches each piece by hand and draws on the fynbos of the Cape, along with colour and pattern from cultures she admires around the world.
