Epona and the Four Directions hand made paper not like todayI had a lot of fun drawing this ink and watercolor painting. I made the mane of the red horse and Epona's hair connected and intertwined. If you love horses, you know this is symbolic of how we want to become one with our horse. I love this piece because it uses the triskele, or three circles which has been said to represent land, the sea and the sky, which is Celtic, and the sun bonnet shield, which is a Plains Indian pictograph.
